Secondary School Rugby Formats and Draws

All grades in the MSSRB competition commence on Saturday 9th May. Formats and Draws for all grades have been confirmed.
Schoolgirls' rugby commences on Sunday 10th May with a 7's tournament at Ongley Park.

On Saturday 13th June all games will be scheduled 1 hour earlier than these times due to the All Blacks v France Test Match in Wellington.
There are 11 weeks of playing days for the MSSRB season as follows (with SchoolGirls' on the following Sundays):

Formats:
Premier 1:
6 Teams play a home/away round followed by a final
Premier 2:
10 teams play a round robin followed by semifinals and a final
Premier 3:
6 Teams play a home/away round followed by a final
Premier 4:
7 teams play 2 friendlies followed by a competition round, semifinals and a final
Under 15:
13 teams play 3 grading games, followed by 2x6/7 team competition rounds (A + B) with a final in each.
Under 14:
14 teams play 3 grading games, followed by 2x7 team rounds (A + B) with a final in each. The bye teams in each pool will play a friendly
Under 60kg
4 teams play 3 rounds followed by semifinals and a final
Points:
Win - 4
Draw - 2
Loss by 7 points of less - 1
Loss by 8 points or more - 0
Default win - 4
Points gained in grading rounds are reset at 0 for the commencement of competition rounds
