The MRU will run an important information sharing evening for all club and school coaches on Wednesday 31 March at 6-30pm at the Marist Sports Club (Pascal Street).

Facilitated by Matt Peters (Rugby Education Advisor) alongside the Turbos Coaching staff, the meeting will cover off the following:

• 2009 season review focusing on the positives from newly implemented initiatives
• 2010 expectations leveraging of the positive outcomes of 2009
• Super 14 top four technical priorities which are to be enforced in community rugby
• The new IRB 2010 directives in relation to safety and broken phase play
• Any law queries, law clarification and law interpretation
• A chance to share best practice with the Turbos Coaching staff

As a rugby coach in Manawatu, the MRU strongly urge club and school coaches to be present so you can enter the 2010 season with confidence and clarity, particularly around law initiatives and interpretations.
