ITM Cup Accreditation System starts 17 Sept

The Manawatu Rugby Union will implement the same accreditation system that will be used during next year's Rugby World Cup during the Turbos' next home match against Auckland on 17 September at FMG Stadium.
The system is designed to ensure those people who are required in specific areas are the only people that have access to those specified areas.
Accreditation passes have been issued to various organisations such as: caterers, security, venue operations, media, team management, match officials and others. In essence, accreditation passes are issued to those people who perform certain duties but does not entitle them to roam the entire stadium.
FMG Stadium is divided into eight zones (zones are listed below) with a security guard posted at each entry point to each zone. The zones are:
Zones Description
1 Field of Play
2 Changing rooms & tunnel
3 Operations
4 Media
5 TV Broadcast Compound
6 VIP
7 Hospitality
8 Venue access only
For the Auckland and Tasman (3 October) games the Manawatu Rugby Union is being tested by Rugby New Zealand 2011 and so don't be offended if you are denied access to areas which aren't on your accreditation pass.
