Manawatu Rugby are excited to announce the 2019/20 coaching staff for the Manawatu Women’s 7s team. The campaign will be led by Head Coach Jacob Meehan. Jacob is currently the Teacher in charge of Rugby at Palmerston North Boys' High School, recently booking a place at the Condor 7s. Campbell will be continuing on from a stint as Cyclones Assistant coach, as well as his involvement in Women’s club Rugby in the region. A long association between the two coaches has allowed for an easy transition into the current campaign, both coaches are excited for the challenge ahead Leading the Strength and Conditioning will be Nick Burton. Nick is currently training the High-Performance athletes this year, allowing for a familiar face within the program.

Trainings will begin on Tuesday 22nd October, 6.00pm at the Sport and Rugby Institute which will continue on both Tuesdays and Thursdays right through until the culmination of the campaign, Nationals on the 14th and 15th of December. If you are interested in representing Manawatu, the first week of trainings will be open, with cuts to be made beyond the first week.
