The RDO Co-ordinator role is a casual position that plays a key role in the deliver of MRU's Rip and Rippa Rugby Programmes, particularly between March and May.

The role is expected to be approximately 150 hours.

The key purposes of the role are to: 

The purpose of the Rugby Development Officer Co-ordinator role is to work with the Game Development – School Lead to lead the delivery of the MRU’s major Rippa Rugby tournaments and Holiday Programmes targeted towards children at primary and intermediate school levels.
A key part of this role includes building relationships with the schools in the lead up to the tournaments to build interest and leading the in-school delivery of Rippa programmes.

Working with the Game Development team, the focus is on keeping players in the game and helping drive new participants to take up our sport while paying special attention to the transition phases in which player typically stop being part of our rugby community.

About MRU:
