Vacancy: Video Analyst

The MRU is seeking an ambitious Video Analyst to lead the High Performance and club rugby video analysis programmes.

Working with the Performance Manager, the lead video analyst will ensure the MRU's teams are provided high quality analysis across the board.

During the club season, this role will operate in a part-time capacity (April 4 - July 3) and will largely be able to be achieved outside of standard business hours.

During our teams campaign, this role will be required to operate as a fulltime position (July 4 – October 30) and will involve travelling with our teams.

Applicants should have relevant experience as a video analyst for a senior club or representative team and experience in coding footage.

The total annual remunneration for this role is $20,000

The key purposes of the role are to: 

To develop and implement an analysis programme that maximises premier rugby coaches, players and referee development.

To assist with the preparation and analysis programme of the Manawatū Turbos, Cyclones and Under 19s teams by providing performance analysis support to the coaches.

About MRU:

The Manawatū Rugby Union's purpose is to lead, grow and support rugby in Manawatū. That includes the 5500 community participants in our region each year along with our representative programmes and our two flagship teams the Cyclones and the Turbos.
