RugbySMART and SmallBlacks Courses 2016

The 2016 NZRU Coaching Small Blacks Rugby Course is a 2.5 hour theory and practical course which will provide coaches and parents with knowledge and skills to assist with coaching and refereeing Junior Rugby.

The practical coaching sessions will be split into the three age groups that make up Small Black Rugby, Beginning (Rippa), Learning (8-10) and Playing (11-13). These are an open forum where new coaches get the opportunity to learn from other coaches with experience in their particular grade.

All first time Small Blacks Coaches then attend a management module at the completion of the practical session to cover off planning sessions, dealing with players and refereeing matters.

Please head to the COACHING tab on the website then select COURSES from the drop down selection box and then select the course (RUGBY SMART OR SMALL BLACKS COACHING COURSE) you are wanting to attend for dates and course locations.

Small Blacks and Rugby Smart coaching courses will need to register to attend so we can arrange resources and extra equipment for the course delivery.
