Manawatu U13 Match Report vs Whanganui U13

Manawatu U13 Vs Whanganui U13

Weather - beautiful day

Grounds - VERY soft and wet (due to bad weather overnight)

Played well, forwards followed game plan and applied the three basic moves from pods. Was slightly difficult to remain on feet with the soft wet grounds.

Backs played well establishing space with the ball and identifying areas to attack.

Defence was great. Great line speed which Wanganui couldn’t handle especially in the backs.

Had blue card late in first half to our Hooker, sent him straight to hospital with his parents, called on way home to make sure he was ok.

HT 29-0 Manawatu

FT 41-5 Manawatu

3 points Jack Patterson 12 (outstanding one to watch)

2 points kyan Hindmarsh 13 (great use of ball to create space)

1 point Tevita 8 (defence)
