THE HEART OF GRASSROOTS RUGBY

Our Senior club rugby runs across seven grades featuring 14 Manawatū clubs and a selection of teams from outside the region.

​​​​​​​Our premier women's club rugby competition is the Prue Christie Cup, while our premier men's club competition is the Hankins Shield, believed to be the oldest prize in club rugby. Our men's club rugby competitions also include Senior Two, Senior Three, Colts ,and Presidents.

We also have the Under 85kg competition which runs after the conclusion of the other competitions.
