Secondary school rugby has played a key role in shaping the New Zealand rugby landscape for well over 100 years.   ​​​​​​​

Manawatū Rugby works to make rugby accessible to secondary school students no matter your situation - whether you've been playing rugby for a few years or want to give it a go for the first time, we want you to get involved. 

We run several boys competitions across Premier and Youth grades. 

For secondary school girls, we have an under 16 competition in Term 2 and an open competition in Term 3. We encourage girls who are aged 16 and over to play Women's club rugby in Term 2.
