The Annual General meeting of the Manawatū Rugby Union is to be held on Tuesday 17 March 2026 in the Manawatū Rugby Performance Centre, 28 Waldegrave Street, Palmerston North, starting at 7.30pm.
The AGM will include elections for vacant MRU Board of Directors and Club Rugby Executive positions.

Call for MRU Board of Directors Nominations
The Appointments Committee is calling for nominations to fill three vacancies on the Board of Directors, as per the Union’s rotation policy. This includes three, three-year positions.

The MRU is calling for nominations for the President role. One vacancy will be appointed by the Appointments Committee

Call for MRU Club Rugby Executive Nominations
The MRU is calling for nominations to fill four vacancies on the Club Rugby Executive. One vacancy will be appointed by the Appointments Committee and three vacancies will be elected at the AGM.
The Appointed Seat is a two-year term, whilst the Elected seats are made up of One, one year term and two, two-year terms.
