Manawatū Rugby  looking for sevens players to represent the province at the Central Region Sevens. 

The Central Region Sevens is being held in Palmerston North on 18 November. 

Former Black Fern, Black Ferns Sevens player, Kiwifern, and Touch Black Kristina Sue is coaching the women's team. Kristina has done an incredible job coaching the Manukura girls team to back to back National First XV Championships.

Troy Sherriff is coaching the men's team. He brings extensive experience coaching Linton Army as well as range of Defence Force teams.

If you’re keen a sevens player and want to try out , come along to the open training on Tuesday 31 October, 6pm-7.15pm at Bill Brown Park.

The schedule for the sevens campaign is:

Training week 1 - Tuesaday 31 October and Thursday 2 November.

Training week 2 - Tuesday 7 November and Thursday 9 November.

Warm up tournament in Napier (day trip) - Saturday 11 November

Training week 3 - Tuesday 14 November and Thursday 16 November.

Central Region Sevens at Massey University, Palmerston North - Saturday 18 November 

Training sessions will be from 6pm to  7.15pm at Bill Brown Park.
