The Manawatū Women’s Sevens team won the Central Region Sevens on 25 November after an unbeaten run through the tournament.

The team beat Hawke’s Bay 54-0 in the final to retain the tournament cup they have held since 2012.

The Kristina Sue coached team was dominant on attack and defence all day, only giving up seven points across five games.
