Manawatū Rugby formally launched it’s Centurions Club at its recent awards dinner, with eight centurions and two family members presented with specially made caps.
The Centurions Club was established to give recognition to players who have reached the extraordinary milestone of playing 100 games for Manawatū.
Centurions Kevin Eveleigh, Alan Innes, Mark Donaldson, Bruce Hemara, Deryck Rowse, Rob Foreman, Nick Croswell, and Selica Winiata received their caps from MRU President Gary Nesdale and shared stories from their careers.
Sons of the late Don McCaskie and Perry Harris received their caps on their behalf.
Fellow centurions Ken Granger, Gary Knight, and Geoff Old, and the family of the late Murray Rosenbrook could not be at the awards dinner so will receive their caps at a later date.
Like with Life Members, Centurions Club members receive free entry to the J.A. Russell hospitality lounge for all Turbos NPC games at Central Energy Trust Arena
