The Manawatū Rugby Union is seeking expressions of interest from Physio providers to service our Pathways and Performance Programmes in 2024. Manawatū Rugby Union is home to the Manawatū Turbos, who play in the Bunnings Warehouse NPC, and the Manawatū Cyclones, who play in the Farah Palmer Cup. We are looking for a provider who can provide a high level of expert care for our performance athletes to assist them through the management and recovery from injuries.

While the preference is for a provider to look after the entirety of our needs, we are also open to applications to cover parts of the programme. Manawatū Rugby has a fully resourced physio room in our Rugby Performance Centre that would be available for the successful provider.

Our Physio needs:

January – June:

Support for our Men’s and Women’s High Performance and Pathways athletes approx. 20 hours per week

July-October:

- Turbos physio (including travelling with the team) fulltime (July-October)
- Cyclones physio (including travelling with the team) approx. 15 hours per week (July-October)
- Support for our other representative teams, largely on weekends and evening trainings.
