VACANCY - JUNIOR AND SECONDARY SCHOOL MANAGER


The Manawatū Rugby Union is seeking applicants for the role of Junior and Secondary School Manager. We are looking for someone who would provide leadership and connectivity for junior rugby clubs and secondary schools in Manawatū.

This role has arisen from the Future of Rugby Clubs Report, Secondary School Rugby research, which identified the need for provincial rugby to lead the development of a healthy secondary school and junior club rugby.

The role will involve advocating for junior rugby clubs, and secondary schools across the region, as well as offering leadership, guidance, support, and resources to aid in the development of healthy rugby clubs and club systems. The role will encompass supporting these areas in formulating plans and ensuring the successful delivery of outputs and outcomes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software

  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Willingness to take ownership and accountability
